Anonymous. She looked up and gave me a though gaze. The shutter clicked so I didn't see her look in the viewfinder until I checked the photo in the monitor. I looked up, she was still there and I walked away.

Colette Shure, 3, was born in New York City. Colette likes a lot of things including Easter egg hunts and candy. Today Colette had to pitch in for Uncle Steve! Colette is my niece and one of the bravest 3 year olds I know.

A Chinese chef prepares roasted ducks in Chinatown section of Manhattan as he gets ready for the dinner rush on Saturday night. Typically the ducks are hung on the window to attract customers.

Malcolm Shure, 9, was born in New York City. He has lived in NY, NJ and now in Seattle Washington. Malcolm is a great baseball player and his favorite team is the New York Mets. Malcolm is my nephew.

Kim Parsons, 29, just a few weeks shy of 30, was born in Chicago, IL. I photographed Kim at the 2009 New York International Auto Show in Javits Center. Kim works as product specialist for Nissan.

Apr. 8 - Javits Center - Manhattan, NY, USA

Jim Press, is Chrysler's Vice Chairman and co-President. I photographed Jim during the 2009 New York Auto Show. Just a few hours earlier he had presented the Fiat 500 and a new Cherokee to the members of the media. I found him in the Chrysler section by himself and asked him if I can photograph him. Unlike most executives, especially auto executives, he was very nice and agreed for a quick photograph. I am not sure what model car was on display behind him.

Mack Diller, 20, was born in New York City. He was named after Mack trucks. Mack attends the Brooklyn College and lives with his brother and parents in Caroll Gardens.

Harrison Shure, was born in New York but now lives in Seattle. Harrison wears retro shirts and hopes to win $12,000 by naming a doughnut. Harrison is a growing teenager so he needs to lie down. He is my nephew.

Apr. 5 - Crosby Street - Manhattan, NY, USA

Homeless. A long winter and a slow start to spring brought me out to the streets of Manhattan during a nice sunny day in search of a subject. Immediately, I find a homeless person sleeping in SoHo, one of the most expensive neighborhoods in all of the U.S. Perhaps a sign of the times and the reality of life.

I didn't get her name, but I don't want to call her "anonymous" either. She was one of the only street vendors out today. It was raining hard just an hour before and it started raining shortly after I took her picture.

Monica Ahmad, 54, was born in Santiago, Chile. Monica is going to her first trip to Saudi Arabia this weekend with her husband, Noor. Monica and Noor live in Queens, NY. (Thilly, I made the correction!)

Tania Bondy loves to laugh, but she's no April fool. Tania is an old friend from Brooklyn. It was great seeing her after a long while.
