Mia Weiss, 5 1/2 years old Korean-American, was born in North Carolina. Mia was all dressed up for a birthday party. She lives with her parents and two older brothers in Brooklyn.

Patricia Shure, 74, was born in Pittsburgh, PA. She is also known as Pat, Patsy, and Nana. She is a former math professor and calculus expert.Pat is my mother-in-law and a frequent flyer.

Richard Kavanagh, 38, was born in Hamilton, New Zealand. He is the first Kiwi I have photographed for this project. Richard, is an international hairdresser and has his own brand of "high performance hair styling tools." I photographed him as he was doing a video piece on 57th Street in New York City.

Marcy Cail, 27, was born in Seattle, Washington. Marcy is in fashion and designs shoes. She lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Gisella Isidori, 75, was born in Bormio, Italy. Gisella is a chef and spends her time divided between the U.S. and Italy.

Feb. 15 - Chelsea - Manhattan, NY, USA

Julia Wachs, 34, over 8 1/2 months pregnant, was born in Frankfurt, Germany. Julia and her husband are expecting a boy, any day now. The new baby boy will live with them in Chelsea.
